The next saddle club meeting is Thursday, February 2nd at Doc's Soda Fountain in Girard at 6:30 pm.
At the January meeting:
- Stephanie Hysler was elected club President
- Tony Milton was elected Vice President.
- 2012 showdates were determined.
- Class list was voted to remain the same as last year.
- Point earning was discussed. Points will be awarded as follows, regardless of the number of class entries: 1st place = 5 points, 2nd placed = 4 points, 3rd place = 3 points,4th place = 2 points, 5th place = 1 point.
- Changing the show time was discussed, however failed to pass.
- Treasurer's report indicated we have approximately $1400 and will need to pay insurance soon.
- We have enough trophies and ribbons for the first show.
- Pam Wallace will find judges for the 2012 season. Kristin suggested posting the judges and class patterns on the web site.
Show are held at Terry Park Arena in Palmyra, IL.
